As an Assistant Logistics Team Leader Outbound, you will support the Team Leader in managing the daily operations. You will help supervise and lead a team of approximately 40 employees and ensure that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and on time.
When the Team Leader is absent, you will take the lead and ensure that the team achieves its operational targets.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Supporting the Team Leader in planning the daily workload.
- Motivating, coaching and supporting employees to improve their performance.
- Creating a positive and productive working environment and encouraging strong team performance.
- Monitoring priorities within your part of the operation and contributing to continuous process improvements.
- Actively supporting the team on the work floor to maintain a clear overview and ensure that team targets are achieved efficiently.
- Acting as the main point of contact for employees when the Team Leader is absent and ensuring that operations continue smoothly.
